The Foundation is committed to working alongside our community to help expand programs and services strengthen the safety and well-being of the community. We provide funding to registered charitable organizations and qualified donees to address important issues that contribute to a safer, stronger Peel.

Our Mission
The mission of the Foundation is to ‘invest in programs and initiatives that enhance safety and well-being through collaboration between the community and police’.
Our Values
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors responsible for all funding and governance decisions. Administrative and operational support is provided by Peel Regional Police. The charitable purpose of the Foundation is “To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom, from time to time, to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).”
The Peel Police Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising charitable funds to support initiatives that address pressing social challenges in our community, including: mental health, addiction, homelessness, youth engagement, and intimate partner violence.
The support we offer through our foundation helps bridge gaps in social services – it can be life-changing and empower individuals and strengthen the overall well-being of those living in our region.
