As noted in the Foundation’s Funding Policy Guidelines, the Foundation will maintain a page of frequently asked questions throughout the proposal call. Applicants are encouraged to check the website regularly for updates and important information.

When will funding decisions be made?

The Foundation anticipates that Funding decisions will be announced by the end of May, 2026.

If I am partnering with Peel Regional Police or other organizations, do I require a letter of support?

No. Letter's of support are not required.

The guidelines and funding application reference a Consultation Committee that will support the Foundation in reviewing applications. Which organizations participate on the Committee?

The Committee is comprised of representatives of Peel Regional Police, the City of Brampton, the City Mississauga, the Region of Peel, the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.

Is there a minimum or maximum amount my agency can apply for?

A total of up to $400,000 is available through this proposal call. There is no defined minimum or maximum request amount. However, the Foundation intends to support a minimum of four programs or initiatives within the total funding available.

One of the priorities for the proposal call is focused on youth. What is the Foundation’s definition of youth?

Definitions of youth vary between organizations, programs and funders. The Foundation does not prescribe a specific age range and will consider how applicants define youth within the context of their proposed program or initiative.

I am having difficulty adding an electronic signature on the application form. What do you suggest?

Organizations can sign, scan and attach the signature page as part of the application submission.
